I was born at Ft. Campbell, KY (Army Brat). My father was para-trooper with 101st Airborne. Bryan was born in Miami. All 3 of the girls were born in Jacksonville.

Besides being born in the navy hospital I also spent some navy time there in A school in 69.  Still living in Jacksonville in the house my parents raised me in.

Hey Thunker and Fla Gypsy, saw your posting and wanted to add that my relatives moved in norther florida over in the Sanderson/Olustee area by ox train just past the turn of the 1800.  We have a family cemetery near Sanderson with the central stone dedicated to my many times over great grandfather who led the oxtrain.  His name was Elisha Green.

Jim, I had family in olustee as well. Some fought in the battle there and one even registered the cattle brand "US" so that he could claim the retreating union armies cattle. Or something like that. I'll find out the exact story from my dad and relay it to you.
