| Usally you will find them in the large 5th wheel trailers and motor home. It could be possible in the larger tt's 32ft or larger. Our new trailer is prepped for one. But until we go fulltime it is not nessary.

Delores,
Know what your thinking, extended trips are a pain when you have to spend a valuable vacation day in some laundermat. Check out this website: http://www.laundry-alternative.com. They have a interesting small 5lb. "tumble by hand mini washer" for $42.95 and also a small counter-top super spin dryer. Seems to me this would be great for tee-shirts, shorts, underweatr etc., to keep you going on a longer camp out, or trip. They're small, light weight, portable and fall into the only "take 'em if'n you know you're going to use 'em" category.

| You really don't want one. A self contained unit takes forever to dry a load and the drum is so small, with kids, you would wash every other day. It also needs an outside vent unless you like steam baths. A double stack 110 volt unit from sears does a better job but takes more space. I would be saving my quarters. We wash about every 10 days while traveling. We use the big triple washer, usually two at a time and are finished in 1 hour.

I have a Splendide 2000 on our Bus. It does both wash and dry. It's a very cute unit and works very efficiently. It's setup in a way we can actually do laundry while going down the road if we want to.
Ours dries clothes pretty quick but I have to agree with bailiff. If we had kids, it would be difficult since you are limited to about half the load size of a regular washer/dryer unit at home. It's more of a convenience than a practical appliance.
Your more than welcome to check it out this weekend if you want to see it.

| Have you all forgot how to wash your unmentionables in the sink and then hold them out the window while your driving to dry?

| Thanks guys for the help. Kimoson that's a great website. I think I am going to go with the hand cranked Wonder Washer and get a little folding cloths line for those in between washes I need to do. With a little boy there's always a right now job and I hate spending time in the laundry mat during camping or vacationing.

We have thought about both the splendite and the double stacked I personally would much rather a dish washer then a washer and dryer LOL
I actually only do wash bout every ten days to two weeks also and going to the laudromat and getting it all done at once in an hour or two is not a problem for us. I have desided to wait untill we fulltime and deside then weather I want to give up the space for it or not.
I did however HAVE to have an icemaker!
