Ok, we finally loaded up and went to the scales on 210.
I don't have a clue how to do all the calculations to get all the weights. Pin wt, GVWR, etc...
Here is the scale info:
Total Gross Weight: 21300 lbs
Axle weight: Truck: front 5040, rear 6640
Trailer: 9700 lbs
I'd appreciate a little help!

| You should be able to find your gvwr and your max axle weights by looking at the tag on the drivers door. In order to figure out the pin weight you need to go back and weight the truck with out the camper and subtract the empty weight from the loaded weight. The difference will the pin weight. You may also want to look at your CGVWR. Which is your combined gross vehicle weight rate. It looks like you are driving an F350 so you should be well within your trucks abilities.

| I'll ask Dave to look at this to....maybe he can give a little more insight since he drove a truck for 17 years he use to have to know all that stuff!

| ok...Dave said basically the same as what Greg says too...as far as your gvwr should be listed either in your book for your truck or the tag on the door.....but he said for your true pin weight you need to weigh the truck.....then weight it with the trailer but make sure only the truck is on the scale (no part of the trailer) the difference is the pin weight so even though the trailer is hooked it should not be on the scale that will show the actual amount of weight that the trailer is putting on the truck/pin

OK...I went and weighed the truck:
Total weight: 8620 lbs
Rear Axle was 3740 lbs
Front Axle was 4880 lbs
Yes, we are pulling the RV with a F350 Diesel Dually.
I didn't want to post this on RV net. The Weight Police are always watching.
We've just never put everything on the scale. So.... while we had her home doing some Spring cleaning I thought we'd drive down to the scales to make sure we were legal.

I believe you are well within your specs for a dually, even within for a SRW. This Ford Fleet Tow guide is the best I have seen for any year. It specifically shows specs for conventional and fifth wheel towing for every year Ford truck. Just change the year model and seek.
