Hello Everyone,

I need suggestions on a reliable travel weather radio. I need one that meets all the NOAA standards.  Thanks in advance for your help.

I would be interested too. All the ones I have seen lately are the crank type I would like to have one that works on ac/dc.

During our last trip to Orlando, there was a tornado warning and I was jumping up all night at the slightest noise because we didn't have a weather radio. Since we will be going to Louisiana in the spring, a weather radio will be a must have.

I have a Midland weather radio.  While there may be many different brands out there, the Midland always shows up in stores.  Last week Publix had a stack of them in their stores and every Home Depot we visit has them.  Around $29-$30 each.  They have the ability to work everywhere based on the codes entered by you.

Let me tell you, that this past Friday, Rally arrival day, it must have alarmed 15 times.

Richard
