The date was only  suggested. I don't think we should compete with any other big event as those you stated. We are good most any time after March. I think we would prefer the warmer weather,,well I know Tee would,,;). The rally should accommodate the members that will to attend:beer..

Lesa,

We have also been there done that "Bar Harbor"  I want to return to eat Lobster Rolls @ Mcdonalds.  Donna loves the White Mountains  around Franconia in NH so we plan to spend several days there.

I suggest we try for one of the holidays for the Rally in either January MLK day or February Presidents day.  Most people will be off for at least 3 days.  As to location, you guys can pick it for me.

I like the idea of MLK or Presidents day weekends too.

So is the discussion over until Greg gets back?

All members in the club have a voice as to what is planned for the rally,,not just a few,,I'm sure Greg has some good ideas and has done a lot of work on the rally and I don't think we will be dissappointed:beer,,

Hmm I didn't mean for it to sound like the discussion was over.  Just that I don't think we should run a poll until we have the details from Greg to be better informed.  And that we should start a new thread.

Just so it's clear I absolutely agree that everyone has a voice and would never imply that only a select few would make the choice for the rest of us.

No problem Mandy. I didn't think you were implying that we wouldn't have a voice.

Nothing wrong with a positive discussion. After all we are all adults. I can't wait to hear what all Greg has done.

We had a great time at the 1st Rally and we were very happy with those who planned it.

Fla-Gypsy,

We are considering going camping for New Year's this year. Thinking of Hanna Park or somewhere not too far from Jacksonville.

Interested in planning a New Year's camping trip?

Lets talk about it this weekend. We did Hanna at New Years last year and had fun.
