Our camper has electric as well as propane hot water heater. Should we leave the electric on all the time while we are camping? Or do we turn it on and off as needed? Thanks for any advice on this............

Save energy switch on when needed. Besides it's summer out, how cold is that water really going to get?

| I generally leave mine on Elec all the time except when their is a big demand then I run both power sources for the fastest recovery time possible. When running a lot of electrical devices I also monitor the line voltage into the TT as a busy CG can sometimes become overloaded quickly and line voltage can drop to a level not good for major appliances like A/C

| What the Gypsy said. We use electric at others expense and fire up the propane when needed. We have used only 19 lbs since December 07 (filled up Monday) and ran the heater several days. We try to camp at least twice a month for 2 or 3 days and don't use a lot.
