Just a recap.
The Potluck on Saturday night is at Nelly Bly's kitchen at the Campgound at 5:30.
The Pancake Breakfast is supposed to be at our site #13 but we might need a bigger site to fit everyone. I guess we'll wait and see. It is scheduled for Sunday morning, I think 8:30 would be a good time if that's ok. But of course the cooking will start earlier.
Everyone attending will need to bring their own (knife, fork, spoon, napkin) plus their own drinks to both meals. There will be OJ at the breakfast.
If you have a folding table we'd appreciate it if you would bring it to both meals. Also bring your camp chairs please.
If you aren't on the previous list and are planning on coming to the potluck or the breakfast or both, please let us know so we can get a head count.
Thanks a bunch and we are looking forward to a awesome weekend.

I am bringing something for the potluck but I just haven't made up my mind yet. What items are needed for the breakfast?

Hi Delores,
It looks like the breakfast is going to be a good one. Take a look at what everyone is bringing and you decide. It looks like we'll have enough bacon, but then again, can't have too much bacon, maybe some milk and or syrup. I know M.E. is bringing syrup too but I'm not sure how much.
Thanks and we'll see you there. You are next to us, we're in site 13. We might need to use both sites for breakfast if you don't mind. We'll see how much room there is on our site. Between the two of us we'll have it handled.

| The are no stores nearby that I am aware of. Closest is Jasper, Mom and Pop store then Live Oak Walmart, then Lake City Walmart and Publix.

The town is about a half mile from the park and there is a good grocery there. It has especially nice meat.
You won't have to drive far at all.
Nothing the size of WalMart, though.

Boo Hoo---can anyone hear me crying?!!! We may have to cancel this weekend as well. I had a day surgery procedure yesterday and don't know if I am recuperating fast enough to be able to go. Last month when I had this procedure done @ Shands (G'ville) & I ended up in the hospital for a week afterwards. John is a little leary about going to S. Foster since we are not familiar with the area and a little far from my dr. & hospital. Does anyone know how far Gainesville is from the campground? I have doctors there, so maybe if its not too far, I could persuade John! Everyone keep their fingers crossed. I told John I NEED to go camping---not want to, but NEED to-----been cooped up for way too long---can't even remember the last time we went camping---now that's sad!! I am trying to convince him that camping is good for the soul ( & body!). I know that he is thinking of me but it is a difficult pill to swallow (yes, pun intended!) Anyways, enough of my moaning & I'm now thinking happy thoughts! Need everyone else to think happy thoughts too!!
thanks for listening---I feel better already!!

FYI we are also planning to attend the pancake breakfast as well as the potluck dinner. I've read that milk was need so I will bring a gallon of milk along with some pancake stuff. For the dinner we will bring a ham, pasta salad, and some black eye peas.
Our guest that are camping within the campground (I think they are in either 43 or 45) are planning to attend as well, They plan to bring some kind of meat to put in our smoker, a side dish and yellow rice (as per her email)
We have a family of 5 and they are a family of 3 (or 4 if her mother comes with them).
Sorry for the short notice.
