On our last trip we discovered some additional lightning damage from our ordeal back in March. I discovered that the TV antenna system was toast! We took it back to Dick Gore's RV at the end of last week. This time State Farm was very prompt with re opening the claim and approved the repairs the next day. Dick Gore called today and said it is ready and I can pick it up tommorrow. Kudos to State Farm and Dick Gore for quick service. The total with the additional repairs has made it to $968. I think I have finally closed this deal out.

Real glad you got it repaired to your satisfaction. A material thing at best.

I am really thankful that you yourself came out of this ordeal in good health.  Only a millisecond between all's ok and disaster.

Someone truly is watching over us.

Speaking of antennas in campers. What happens when everything goes digital in Feb. '09? I like turning on a local channel in the morning to see what the weather is going to be like. I guess it means more DVDs for those rainy trips.

The antenna is not changed.  All that is required is to purchase a converter and install it between the antenna out and TV in.
