Well it rained all night last night and finally stopped about 8:30 am this morning.  We drove by the Albany covered bridge and took a photo of the ride.  We then decided to go to the Franconia Notch State Park and visit the Flume, then Cannon Mountain.  We also drove around the back way home via the MT Washington Hotel.  Took a picture of Mt Washington with the Antenna on top and the Cog Rail Road Line visible on it's right.

Mt. Washington hotel was quite pricey and of course further from the outlet mall than I liked!! LOL

I love the pictures.

Is that pathway open during the winter?  I wonder how often they have to replace the wood.

There is a really, really nice federal campground not far down the road from the Mt. Washington Hotel. Dry camping only, but nice sites.

I am just LOVING your great pictures! Thanks!

Mandy, they completely remove the walkway in sections before winter.  We were told the Ice almost closes off the flume some years.

I'm just thinking how cool temperature wise that must be and how nice it feels.  It's too balmy and hot here for pregnant women!  If I had a pool I'd be floating in it right now!
