Just for giggles I routed my dream trip to the great northwest.

50 hours straight through driving time (no stops HAHA)
3216 miles
$3500 just in fuel

I guess I will have to start saving my pennies!

P.S. misspelled Oregon oh well.:X

Al, What kind of mileage do you get with that beast?

We have driven so far a total of 4,935. miles  spending $1,739.32.  The best we have gotten in fuel mileage on the lie-o-meter 11.2..MPG.

Actual log Donna keeps on every cent we spend....

Checking math now. Average $4.79 per gal

To tell you the truth I have not even tried to find out what mpg is. I figure what you don't know won't hurt you. :?

I want to make the same trip. Then make a right turn and go across the top of the USA and then make a right and come down the east coast back the JAX.

Dually is correct that is only 1 way for miles, but the money for fuel is correct for your return trip. Don't forget the CG fees, food, gifts and etc...

My trip I figure at TODAYS RATE will be just over $7000 round trip. I hope I can make it one of these days.
