Well, we finally got home.  Hate to say but it went really fast.

We called home Saturday because Rick was to be home after summer term.  The house phone was busy and Rick's cell went straight to his mail box. He never turns his phone off.  We continued to call Sunday and finally got the neighbor down the street to check.  Rick was home and the neighbor told him to call his Mother ASAP.  After the relief, we went to the Dillard House for lunch in Dillard Georgia.  The price has gone up to $19.95.  I thought that was a little too far but we took all the leftovers back to the trailer for supper.

Instead of stopping in Perry, GA, we made the drive all in one day.  478 miles made for a long day.  The thermometer in the truck showed 101 degrees just south of Macon, GA and teetered between 97 and 101 untill the FL line when we got a little shower.  The truck and trailer performed great.  Donna and I did well also except for the window incident.  As we were unloading, I smelled gas and sure enough, one 30 lb propane cylinder was empty.  Last year, we only used 20 lbs but this year, we had 7 more days of showers each and we used the oven some.

I will have to do some maintntance but we are readdy to go to Stephen Foster Culture Center SP

Welcome home and thank you again for sharing your wonderful pictures of your trip. It really made for lots of nostalgia for these Yankees.

We look forward to meeting you both.

Stan, I had thought about Branson and the Ozarks or on to Colorado.  Elevation is the need in the summer.      We like being away from the Florida Heat.
