| Has anyone heard from Mary Ellen and Don. They were headed to St Andrews in PCB on Saturday. I wonder how the weather is holding up on the water there.

Al,
It looked real bad when she posted, asking whether they should go or not. Then this crazy storm changed to where I thought they would be ok. It looks like it could now enter the Atlantic, then make a 90 degree turn west into the Gulf. I hope they decided to head to Georgia instead.
Again, put a man on the moon but let a little storm freak out the National Weather Service.

WE JUST GOT HOME!!!!
Decided to come home a day early and miss all the rainy/windy driving that is on the way west.
Had a peaceful drive and it's good to be home.
BUT WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD!!! Site 98 is now our favorite site ever! The weather was GORGEOUS we sooooo enjoyed sitting under the trees on our own little beach and having our morning coffee while we watched an amazing variety of birds (including an endangered woodpecker). Higgins had soooooo much fun burying rocks in the sand, swimming, and chasing the ducks.
We ventured out to Capt. Andersen's but they are not open for lunch, not open until 4:30 the sign said, so we cooked some great steaks on the grill instead.
We are already planning trips back there......
In the meantime, it is so nice to be missed.....
JOE! What have you guys been up to while I've been gone?

Are you all dry and okay???? Really???? Lordy, I hope so!
We have the flood warnings now.........
Will post some pics of St. Andrews when Don rests a bit and gets 'em downloaded. They won't be nearly as professional as Al's though. Al, dearheart, have you entered some of yours in the state parks photo contest yet??? C'mon! Do it! They are WINNERS!
Latah......

Hey AL and all.. You had to ask! I didn't have the water turned on for the house and she was already posting!
Great time at St.A.. The mornings were the best with the sunrises and gentle sea breeze.. All the good sites are booked through next April!!! $$%##!
