I see she is almost on yall over in Jax. I hope everyone stays save. She will be here on friday, but will have died down to 40mph by that time. At least she will be gone by next weekend so we can all have a great time at Stephen Foster.

Thought I would be spending the night at the hospital tonight. Glad things aren't expected to be too bad. I've always got the big daddy truck to get us through flooding. I'll be picking up nurses along the way.

We're heading to Cape Canaveral on Friday to catch a cruise ship. They had 16" of rain today. Yikes....I hope that won't be us.

Stay safe.

We have had an awful lot of rain but no real damage so far.  The winds at Cecil are now at 23 MPH with NNE gust to 46 MPH.  My gauge read 4" this morning since Tuesday at 7am.  I poured it out and now the gauge is at 3".  We have  a few dead limbs down out back but that's about it.  Hope the electricity holds out.

We are getting pounded on the northside. Been bad all evening. Heavy wind and rain. Power was off for nearly 4 hours but I am back up right now.

sltrawick-redfrog looks like you will get wet Sat pm and Sun. Unless it changes again.  How many people lost power. Town of orange Park made it threw it with no power loss but Green Cove Springs lost power most of the night.

Oh Tom, tree-hugger that I am, I'm so sorry to see your tree(s) down. Thank heavens they didn't go through your roof, though.

Sometimes Don and I do something smart, and yesterday we were smart to leave St. Andrews a day early and drive home on dry roads! Today they are very windy and very rainy. In fact, so windy that I can't imagine driving our 12' high camper through safely.

We live in Hernando County and there are powere outages and some flooding, but everything is fine at our house....so far.....

I feel badly for the folks around the Grand Lagoon where we were camped this week, since this is the weekend of the big Grand Lagoon National Fishing Tournament and it is a big deal there. Can't imagine how it will take place.....

Everybody stay safe and dry.....

m.e.

Power up and down on the northside and we are getting pummeled with wind and rain! I wonder about our Callahan folks. I know they are in with us northsiders and it is bad.
