I've got a LP connector on the side of my trailer. It's the the type that you pull back a ring to disconnect (not sure the technical name for it). Anyways, is there any type of adapter where I could connect it to the hose of my Coleman RoadTrip? The roadtrip has a female screw on type of connector for accepting small bottles of LP. Is there any type of adapter or connector for this?
Thanks,
Jason

I think you can buy that connector at Lowes in the grill section. I will look for sure the next time I am there.
Pretty sure I have seen it there.

| After posting the question here, I read on another site about this. The gas adapter on the side of the trailer is a low pressure connection and won't work with my grill unless I build a new hose with no regulator on it.

I have this adapter on my camper. In fact I also use the Coleman Road Trip grill. My brother-in-law works at a hose shop so I got him to make me a shut off valve in the line as an extra precaution.
Because of the tightness between my LP tank and on board regulator, I had to purchase a longer hose that connects the regulator to the tank at my local LP store.
I leave my line connected to the camper at all times, and when we use it, I just drop the line out the bottom of the compartment and hook it to the grill.
Keep in mind, this setup is design to automatically shut off if it losses pressure. Just in case the line gets cut, it does leak gas out.

Richard,
Thanks for the info. If we ever meet up in the future I'll have to check out how you've got it set up.

will do!
keep in mind, it keeps you from buying those little green bottles or from bringing an extra lp tank (weight issue)
