There are two ways to post pictures on the site. You can post them in the photo gallery or you can post them within your posts.  To use the photo gallery just click on the link on the left side of your screen and click on the upload photos link and follow the prompts.  If you do not see this link please contact me at greg@neflcc.com or send me a pm and I will fix it for you.

The easiest way to add pictures to a post is to upload pictures directly from your computer using the Attachment method.  Just click on the Browse button and find the picture saved on your computer.  You will be limited to one picture per post using this method.

(This is going to sound a lot harder than it is)  The second method of posting pictures requires that the picture or pictures already be hosted somewhere on the internet.  It can be in our own gallery or any other gallery that allows hot linking.  Such as Photobucket.  Using this method you may post multiple pictures in the same post.  I find it useful to have two windows open while posting this way, one with the source of the photos and the other neflcc.com.  This way I can easily copy and paste the location of the pictures into the post by toggling back and forth between the source and neflcc.  If you look at the pictures above you will see a small box with three round balls in it.  Clicking on this box will open a small window shown in the second picture asking you for the url or address of the picture you want to post.

Now I toggle back to the source of the photos and right click on the photo and copy the photo location as seen in this photo.

By toggling once again I then paste this information into the url window.  Click ok and the picture will appear in your post.  In order to post multiple pictures you just repeat the last few steps until you have all the pictures you wish to post.  I find it easiest  to work my way up from the bottom of the page. Please note that you must have a line between each picture or they will be side by side and not above or below each other.  You will see what I mean after you post your first ones.

I hope that this helps and if you need further assistance please feel free to send me a pm email me.  If you send me your phone number I will call you and walk you through it if need be.

Greg

Greg,    I tried to post pics to the photo gallery and got a message saying

" exceeds file size limit"   I even tried to load one pic at a time and couldn't.

I apologize if this info is already posted someplace.  I haven't had enough coffee this morning to hunt for it...      thanks sooooo much !!

" exceeds file size limit"   This message means that your photos are too large.   I just went in and changed the maximum file size to 500kb.  Try again and if you get the same message you will need to resize your picture.

I am posting the picture below to show you that you can have a relatively small picture that looks just fine on the web.  This picture is 52kb.  If you limit the size of your pictures you will be able to post allot more of them.  Everyone has a limit of 10000kb in their personal galleries at 500kb per picture you can post 20 pictures at 50kb's per picture you can post 200.

I hope this helps.
