Many of our members have been asking for a photo gallery on this site to allow us to post pictures from our club related outings and I am very happy to tell you that the Photo Gallery will open tomorrow.

The gallery will be free to all users however there will be a few restrictions.

  • All members will be able to view the gallery however unregistered guests will only be able to view smaller sized pictures

  • In order to post pictures on the gallery you will have to be an active member* of the club and in good standing.     (* 25 or more posts)

  • You will not be allowed to hotlink the photos to other websites.  ( This practice uses up to much bandwidth)

  • Each member will be limited to 5 megs of space.
  • Photos will be limited in size to 250k in order to conserves server space.  I suggest that you size your photos to 100k in order to conserve your album space.
  • All photos must be camping related. ( preferably club related)
  • If a member leaves the group or has not posted on the site for a period of 3 months then their album will be removed.
I hope that everyone enjoys the new gallery.  I look forward to seeing it full of pictures of happy campers.

Lesa,  One way to tell how large your photo is is to go to "My Computer" find the photo, right click on it, select properties.  Look at the size.

What program are you using to get your photos off your camera onto your pc?  Once you download them to your pc use that program to resize the photo.

I most picture software will allow you to resize a photo. Such as Microsoft Photo Editor most people have this program if they have a Microsoft office suite. Let me know what type of photo viewer you have and I will try and help you.

Thanks everyone!! You guys are the greatest. Always willing to help.

I have ZoomBrowser EX It's a Canon Utility program. Santa brought me a new SLR for XMAS. Still don't know how to use it well. This is the program that came with the camera.

I'm not real savey with this computer stuff but ask me to deliver a baby and I'm there. LOL

I'll be sure to bring gloves and a shoe string with me on all campouts. Now those would be some great action shot pictures.

:D

I can't wait to post some pictures.
