That is good news Wayne I look forward to meeting you. That is a nice looking Dodge you got there.

That's my toy, 1949 Dodge 2 1/2 ton fire truck, only had 15,000 original miles on it, when I bought in Pennsylvania two years ago, sat out side for over 35 years and that took its toll on the paint, but everything that was covered was still in good shape, I drove all the way here from PA with no troubles, over 1100 miles.

Wow....that is awesome!!!

Welcome to the club by the way.....

Oh, does it tow the camper? Or could it tow the camper? Or would you tow the camper? That would be a cool thing to see at the rally.........

Thanks for the welcome, yes it will tow my camper, it will just about tow anything, I replaced the original motor with a 5.9 Cummins turbo diesel out of a 91 Dodge 1 ton, 5 speed trans with original two speed rear, also added power steering and power brakes, so needless to say it goes down the hiway pretty darn good, surprises a lot of people, when I pass them at 65.

That is so cool. My Grandfather had a 55 Willys that I drove back and forth to school and then when my grandfather passed, my grandmother gave it to my uncle and then he sold it... pee'd me off, but what can you do. One day I will have another. I loved that old truck.

Looked like the one in the picture below, but not as clean.
