Hi Everyone,

I just registered and with warmer weather approaching, ready to do some
camping.  My name is Phil and wife is Sheila.  We have 3 boys.
We live in Kingsland, Georgia.  Looking at maybe going to Laura Walker
Park with you in a couple weeks.  We haven't been doing much camping and
need to get the little thing out and have some fun with it.:campfire animat

Thanks Greg.  Yeah, I have been wanting to check out that park.  Do you
call the park directly?  It looks like if you go on-line reservation they require
a 2 night stay and unfortunately, I will probably only be able to do Sat. night.

I am not sure about that. I have only reserved sites using their online system. We have never camped their either. I love checking out new campground. New to us anyway.

I agree...lately we haven't been doing much camping at all. I see there was a trip at Stephen Foster recently...which is close to Laura Walker. Any reviews on how that was?...Looks good too. I won a canoe in a contest and only took it out a couple times so once I get the rack put on the van, will need to take it out some too..........

It rained almost the entire time we were there and it was very cold. But it was a nice park, we need to go back under different conditions. Then we can give a better review.

Good morning...uh... afternoon.  Anyway, welcome to the club.  We have a 13 year old son who camps with us all the time.  He loves to hang out with other kids from the club and is excited to hear there are 3 new boys joining the club.  He wants to know how old are they and if they like to chop wood and build fires (his favorite camping activities).  Hope to see ya'll at Laura Walker!

Looking forward in meeting you guys at Laura Walker. We have been here several times and it's a nice clean park. They have a lake there too, so you can bring your kayak and take a cruise out on the water. Also, if you want to join us in the golfing event, you are more than welcome.
