Hello all. New here as well. Actually, new to RVing all together.  Picked up our 96 Jayco popup around June of this year.  Had it out about 3 trips (approx. 5 nites). Wife never was into the "camping thing". So the first family trip had to be perfect. And it was. We went to Ft. Wilderness for 3 days/2 nights.

Looking forward to meeting others who enjoy the same and are a little closer to home.

Mike

Welcome Mike.  If you wanted to impress your wife with the joys of camping you started at the right place.  We had a great time at Ft Wilderness earlier this year during spring break.  We spent two days at the park and two days just hanging out in the campground.  Feel free to jump right in and invite yourself to any of the camping events listed in the calendar especially the rally in March.

Greg

Hello Mike & wife and welcome to the club.  I hope we will get to see you both at the Rally.  Don't you just love those add-a-rooms?

Mandy :D

Sure do appreciate the warm welcome!

We have a trip planned Jan. 31 - Feb 3 to Ft. Wilderness, again. (Wife booked it, promise!) After we return, I have to start the roof repair.  It will be a project for the weekends. Hopefully not too many, but I don't want to rush to make a dead line and not get it done right. I am going to give it my best to make it to the rally in March.

Add-a-rooms are very nice.  A little challenging to get up, but worth it.

Hey Mike,

I see that you have the same birthday as my husband and I. That's cool. Three campers with the same birthday.

It is great to be an Aquarius!!

Has anyone camped at the c.g. in South Carolina that has the water park in it? I was curious what ya'll thought. I can't rememeber what the name of the park is.

I thought it would be nice to go to with the kids and all.

Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

James Island County park has a water park and is a great location for visiting Charleston. I have a few pics in my photo link
