Thanks for the warm welcome. We are very new to this whole idea. We are Street Rodders and there are shows all over the country we have not been able to attend until now. But there was the dogs to consider. So we thought the only way to have the best of both worlds was to have an RV  so we could tow our car trailer and have the dogs with us. Before buying this, we had a TT that we took to Lake Louisa SP for a weekend, the dogs liked it and we were hooked. Traded it up to this within 2 weeks.

We would appreciate all the advice you seasoned campers can give. As I said we are going to Florida City Jan 12-19 on a shake down run. I guess my greatest concern is choosing a camp ground. This RV has everything my own home has but I know I can't run to the corner store if I forget anything. Are reservations always necessary when traveling?

What kind of street rod do you have?  If you camp at Tropical Palms in Kissimmiee  you can show your car at Old Town on Saturday night.  Here is a link.  If you decide to go let us know we love to hang out there.

We have a 41 "All Steel" Willys-not Pro-Street. It is a driver. Would not think of taking it to Old Town only because this is a "show car". We have taken other cars there but not this one. Too many tourists that have no idea what these cars cost to build. Had someone open the door and sit in one of our cars just to have their picture taken. We had walked away from the car to say hello to friends. I thought Jim (the Mr Hansen) would have a heart attack. Want to do RVing without the car too...so we can relax :D

Welcome to the Zoo !!!!

Dawn & I just got back from Key West and stayed at Southern Comfort R.V. park in Florida City on the way down. Nice & peacefull park that is not over crowded like most parks in that area. If you need any info about the park or their phone number let me know.

Hope to meet ya'll soon.

Sorry, wish I could be of help but we have never stayed there. I try to stay as far away from Miami as possible, just because of traffic.
