Hi all!

My husband and I are very intent on getting our young girls involved in camping, and have decided this is the year!  :)

We are in South Georgia...just one exit away from Florida.

As of right now we are tent campers, and hope to move up to a pop-up or TT in the next couple of years.

This seems like a wonderful group, this is an amazing way to connect with other campers!  Gotta love the information age!

:welcome aboard,,glad you found us. As Mandy,,Luvs2camp,, stated we have every kind of camper you can think of,,:D.

We camped in tents for many years and still prefer it but with a 27mo old the tent kind of went way side to a Pop Up,,PUP,, which the wife loves.

Check out our rally coming up in March,,the week end of the 7th @ Goldhead SP,,would love to have you join us,,still sites available,,:beer,,

Greg & I started this group about a year ago and been very pleased with how it has exploded,,a bunch of GREAT people.

Phil

Thanks for the welcome, Phil!
We have a 12 month old, so I am a bit nervous to see how she does in a tent...but really, the worst that could happen is she ends up keeping us up late and we remember why we're done having babies...haha!

Welcome Jessica. I don't think a child is ever to young to take camping. I can still remember giving my twins a bath in a small wash tub when were tent camping. Of course that was over 23 years ago.

Hi Jessica!

Exit 1, must be St. Mary's or Kings Bay.  My son-in-law is in the Marines and was stationed at Kings Bay until last year.  We have taken Exit 1 more times than I can count.  And my daughter's name is also Jessica.

We took our kids camping and our grandkids, tent, pop-up, RV, doesn't matter, they'll love the experience.  I find that kids just love to be outdoors and love exploring.

Welcome and hope to meet you soon!

Dana

Welcome Jessica, we started out in a tent, went to a pop up, then a TT, then a bigger TT. Whatever you got, bring it and come go camping with us.

:welcome Jessica

We were at Laura Walker SP near Waycross this past weekend.  It was pretty cold but if I were a tenter, I'd try this  SP.  Gravel well drained sites and lots of grass..

Hope your Husband's schedule meets the March Rally dates..

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!!!

Thanks for the tip on Laura Walker SP, we've heard good things about it, so we may have to give it a shot soon!

And, Dana...you nailed it, Kings Bay! Hubby is a submariner.

Hi Jessp & family and welcome to the club. Like Phil, we too have a toddler just a couple months. So yours and ours will have plenty of playtime and things in common. I hope you can make it to our camping rally in March.~Mandy
