Hi Everyone,

This looks like a wonderful group! Thanks for having me! I've read a little on the website but can't figure out a few questions. I'm really hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

1. Are there fees or dues for joining the club & if so what are they?

2. When you camp are there group rates discounts for being with the club or do you just show up & pay as you normally would?

3. How does it all work & is there a spot on the webpage that explains it all?

Thanks so much & I really look foward to meeting you all sometime soon!

Hello MamaBear and welcome to the club.

The only rules are here  http://neflcc.com/forum8/.

There are no fees or dues paid by members.

When we camp together every one is responsible for their own reservations and associated fees.

We are a very loose knit group and enjoy being able camp together with out allot of rules and politics involved.

If you want to join in on one of the camp outings posted in the forum or the calendar then just let the original poster know and they will add you to the list.

Greg

welcome2:

Welcome Mamabear (love the name). This group is just about having some fun together while camping. As a popular eatery slogan goes "No rules, just right" Look forward to meeting you. We have many events on the calender well into the summer so pick something and join in. Which spring is that in your sig pic?Check out some of my favorite spots in my pics link.

Sounds Great to me!

When you make your reservation, do you request your camp site to be in the same area with the other group members if possible?

Yes we normally do, that is why we post our site numbers in the calendar so that other members know where we are and can try to camp next to us.

HI! Thanks so much for the info! My sig picture is "Blue Spings".

We've been there many times for big family gatherings & day trips but never camped there. We've taken a few day trips (no camping) to Ginney,Poe, and some of the other springs. We really love all the springs & are really lucky to have these the beauty of them around us to visit. I do wish sometimes that they were closer but hey at least they're close enough! The grown kids like to camp at Ginney a few times a year.

I learned to love camping from my parents who took us once a year to Unicoi State park in upstate Georgia. They've since taken grandkids & Great grandkids. We'll be going with them there in May this year! We also love visiting all the State & National parks we can on day trips & hope to camp a little more than we have been.

If you are not familiar with Salt Springs or have not looked at my pics link take the time to do so. Many springs pictures in there as I am a bona fide "spring hopper". Nothing else like them on God's earth.
