I'm so glad to find this site. I am a married woman with one son. The two of us camp all over the state, mostly at State Parks. My son is 9 years old. My husband joins us once in a while, but it's just not "his thing". So....we have had some great adventures. My son usually finds a buddy at campgrounds, but it would be great to actually have a planned trip with people that have the same interests and kids his age.
We recently upgraded from a pop up to a 23' travel trailer. All the comforts of home! Heat is a great thing. We spent President's day long weekend at O'Leno State Park. It sure did get cold a couple nights.
I'm looking forward to reading past topics and sharing information.

Welcome to the group. Feel free to join in on any of the outings posted in the calendar. Just let the original poster know so that you can be added to the list. The first thing our kids do when we get to the campground is scout the area for new camping buddies.

Welcome to the Zoo !!!!
Dawn & I are empty nesters..."Thank God", but somehow we manage to attract the kids to us. I think its Dawn not me !!!!
Please come out and join everyone either at our Rally or at one of the many other camping events.
I'll be the one with a fishing pole  in my hand !!!

| Thank you for all the responses! We will be at Blue Springs from March 30th-April 5th. Anything close by, outside the park, that's interesting? I think Hontoon Island is close by?

The DW and I will be at Blue Springs from March 30th till April 4th. We will be at site # 21 so stop by and say hi.
