We are Don and Mary Ellen from Spring Hill, over on the west coast of Florida. Typical retired folks originally from New England.

In a nutshell: We've been tenting for years; camped for two years in a 17' Casita TT; RVed full-time in a 36' fifth wheel for two and a half years; and then settled down in a retirement community here. Promptly got hitch itch and really bored, so we went out and got a little B+ motorhome (motorized camper, nothin' grand).

We love nature, so you can find us in Army Corps of Engineers Parks and state parks mostly. We are thoroughly enjoying getting to know the Florida State Parks.

Looking forward to having some buds to chat with and enjoy a campfire with as we travel around.

Thanks for the welcomes! And yes, it would be very fair to say:

GO RED SOX!

YAAAAAY PATRIOTS!

WOW! YOU ROCK, CELTICS!

Now we just have to light a fire under the Bruins!

New England rules!!!!!

Wellllll, I do have to confess that now that we live in Florida, we have been known to cheer on the Bucs. And we are most decidedly HUGE Gator fans! Love those boys from Gainesville!

I've been trying to figure out everything here, especially the calendar. We will be joining you ASAP when I figure out where ya are!

And is there a place that tells a computer challenged person how to upload a photo to an avatar....?

Thanks,

Mary Ellen

Mary Ellen to upload a avatar you need to click on the My Account link in the left menu bar at the top of this page then click on Avatar, you will then be able to browse your computer for the photo of your choice.

Welcome Camplaffalot. Try and join us for our mini rally at Stephen Foster SP, Labor Day weekend. I think site 22 is still available.

Thanks for the welcome, Lesa.

We will have to miss the mini-rally this time because Don has decided that he wants to head north to Maine for the month of September. We want to visit our sons, especially our Army Captain who is back from a lengthy tour in Baghdad.

But we'll look forward to the next one!

We stayed at Stephen Foster and it is one of our favorite parks. It has the BEST gift shop and we are usually MUCH poorer when we leave.;)

Mary Ellen
