Our favorite loop is the lakeview loop--the sites overall seemed a little bigger and more shaded---I think I will book that loop if there are no objections.

I have only camped there once recently and that was in the lakeview loop--the boys liked the woods close by to go hiking (right out the back of our campsite).  What is is like at the sandhill & turkey loop?

Turkey loop is more for tents and small pop ups.  Sandhill has large sites with trees between each site.  It is all woods behind us and there is a trail to the lake from the beginning of the two loops.  Here we are at sandhill loop last Memorial Day

Deb

You can reserve in any loop you like.  Just bring your bikes so that you can get around.

Greg

Too late---I already booked site 11 this afternoon.

We can go to the lakeview loop another time when we go on our own.

Mike and I are booked into site #9.

Deb,

There are smaller and larger sites in both Sandhill and Lakeview.  We've stayed in both and prefer the Sandhill loop.  We've had deer walking around the campsite in both areas, though.  The Lakeview loop does have new restroom facilities.

Thats my bride and long life companion.  The mother of my son and the grandmother of my 3 grandchildren.  The instructor of life, the helper in need, the nurse in health and the lover forever.

She goes everywhere I go, kinda like a ball and chain.  She is my heart and soul.  She has put up with my BS all these years.  It would be no fun without her being there.  And yea she is still foxy to me gray hair and all..
