If we can get a couple of members to take these last two Sandhill Loop sites then we will have succesfully taken over the entire loop. Come on you know you  want to come to the rally.

Ok, Dawn & I took site No#1, I only hope thats far enough away from Phil that I don't get any of his "Bad Carma". For those of you next to Phil.....Bring a chicken to sacrifice, to ward off evil camping spirits !!!!

Greg, next time your down that way see if any of the lakes have water in them. I may bring the puddle jumper down if you find water.

Better late than never.  Chris and I just booked the last spot.  #3 is ours for the weekend.  May have to get a bit of coaching on backing into this site from the more experienced drivers out there.  We are looking foward to meeting everyone and having a fun weekend.  See you there!

Yea Richard, The wife & I went there a few years ago to camp and I brought the boat because their web site said something about a lake. The ranger met me at the door and asked me what I was gonna do with the boat? I said fish....he said "not around here".  I went to the boat ramp and I swear I saw cactus growing out in the middle of the lake, and tumble weed rolling by.

Phil is part Indian.....he can always do a rain dance for us !!!!!  From your picture, Phil better start tomorrow and keep dancing !!!!

Hey Greg,

Will there be other spaces in the park where you can park different types of rvs. I think a lot of members may be waiting until closer to the date to see if their schedules will allow them to be off. Also, I haven't noticed any of our tent camping buddies posting and there are lots of spots for them and the weather should be great. I hope some of them come out. :D

There are 23 rv sites in the Lake view area still available.  There are also 3 non reservable rv sites in the Sandhill loop as well as the tent/popup sites in the Turkey Oak loop.  I will be arriving on Thursday and can grab the non reservable sites for any last minute arrivals.  Now that we have all of the reserable sites in the Sandhill Loop taken by members I will post an invitation on rv.net for anyone that wants to join us.

Greg

Hmmm not sure if you know this Clyde, but most rain dancers  do their magic in the nude or partially nude.  I'm really not sure if you'd like to see Phil in his birthday suit.   If the answer is yes...  I'm thinking you need to take Dawn out on some more date nights.  :P

Trust me... there's no way I want to see Phillip in the Buff !!!!  Just the thought of that makes me want to drive down to Goldhead Tonight and start filling the lake. I'd even go as far as paying Phil to keep his clothes on.

I've never heard of that, so I have to ask.  How do you know so much about naked rain dancers ??? Enquiring minds would like to know ???

My maternal great-grandmother was a full blooded Choctaw Indian and I have Cheerokee in me from my paternal side.  And I've been known to do some dancing when I've had a bit too many margaritas.  :P
