Gold Head State Park will be holding its second annual volunteer day on the Saturday of our rally. I spoke with the park manager and he advised that we would be able to attend some of the activities. The volunteers will be given fist priority at all of the events. We will be able to participate as space allows with the exception of the luncheon that is for the volunteers only.
The park is going to be very busy this weekend and I think it can only enhance our rally activities.

Anyone else having problems with the FLSP web address? I tried several times last night and had no luck. I just tried Greg's link (thanks Greg) and it comes up as a no go.

| Will we be cosidered actual volunteers for the next volunteer appreciation because we are going to volunteer that Saturday? Or to be an official volunteer we need to sign up somewhere?

No the volunteers that they are honoring are mostly camp hosts from various campgrounds in the district. They also have a civic volunteer organization that helps out around the park. I think they are called the Gold Head Associates.
