Come on down early Phil, I'll give you a checkup at no charge and throw in a Miller Lite.

Donna has a parent conference at 3:45 on Friday so I got her permission to come on down about 1:00pm to set up.  Only 35 minutes away for us.  I want you all to know this is the first time we have not traveled together.:X

I am going to try and shut down the shop around noon and "TRY" to be at Goldhead by 2:00. The weather don't look to good (Rain) for Friday night or Saturday morning. I was at Sams Club tonight picking up the meat and I also got a heavy duty tarp.

If the rain is not too bad Friday night I will have the tarp up for the "Meet & Greet".  If it is raining real bad I guess we will wait till Saturday around noon.

If anyone else has a spare tarp or two, please bring them....if nothing else we can let the tenters in the group use them to stay dry.

Clyde I have a tarp with the corners having pole holes for set up, but I don't have any poles.  Would you still like me to bring it?

We probably won't be arriving until Saturday morning due to the weather. I need to call to see what is the earliest we can come in if our reservations are Friday - Sunday.

We're still watching the weather.

Lesa, since your reservations are Fri.-Sun. I would assume you could check-in anytime on Sat. as long as early as the park is open.  Just call the SP and let them know you are coming though, so they don't give it to someone else just in case.

Thanks, I called and they gave us the gate code so when we decide to come we will have access to the CG. We'll try and not wake anyone up....maybe we can find a muffle for the diesel engine. :-)

Hey guys, we're not going to come until morning. The weather is really bad and I don't want the girls' 1st campig trip to make them afraid. My 5 yr old is afraid of lightning and I don't want to scare her to death. On top of that - I dropped my cell phone in the water and fried the battery(I think). I'm gonna get the battery from my brother's old phone - because Daddy (he thinks he's MY daddy too) says I CAN'T go unless he has a way to get in touch and for us to contact him if we run into any trouble. That's what 19 yrs. in the military will do to you. LOL See you in the morning.

Hello Everyone,

We'll be leaving in the morning also with the tornado warnings; I don't want to pull a Dorothy tonight and wake up in Oz.

Joe,

It is still real nasty here, raining steady.  You are making the right decision.  We are to start on our project around 9 am in the morning.  It is supposed to be cool and windy.  Hope all is well with you and Dana.

Richard
