I want to say Thank You to some campers that helped make the Rally a success.  Allot of people helped make our first annual rally the success that it was.

Mandy (Luvs2Camp) was instrumental in the success of the Rally.  She was an active participant  in the planning as well as implementation of the rally activities.  We could not have done it with out her.

Mandy (Luvs2Camp) and Vicki (Biggsbasment) did a great job with the kids crafts.   I would like to point out that they paid for all of there supplies themselves.  Thank You Ladies I know that the kids enjoyed the crafts very much.

Richard (bailiff) Spent allot of time and energy planning and carrying out the service project at Gold Head.  He traveled to the park several times prior to the event to confer with the rangers ensuring that the project would be a success.  Thank You Richard I think the barriers look great and look forward to retuning to Gold Head in the future to see the new vegetation growing as a result of our efforts there.

Delores (Serenity Road) provided all who wanted one snow cones at now cost.  I think that Delores may have been the bell of the ball as far as the kids are concerned. Thank You Delores.

Clyde and Dawn hosted the Ice Breaker or maybe it should have been called the community shower on Friday night as well as provided enough smoked meat to feed an army.  Thank you both.

Chris (My wife) for planning the scavenger hunt and putting up with me obsessing about the rally for the last several months.

Phil_Tee_jl  Thank you for providing the name tags it sure made remembering names allot easier.

I want to say a special thank you to Jay (Bigfoot).  This was the first time Jay and his wife were able to join the group at a camp out but they fit in like old friends.  Jay never missed an opportunity to help out during the weekend.  When ever something needed to be done he was right there helping out.

I would also like to thank all of the club members and there friends that attended the rally.  A rally would not be a rally with out all of you.  We had allot of new members there and I enjoyed meeting each and everyone of you.  I hope that we can all share a campfire again real soon.

If I you know of anyone that I left anyone out I apologize it was not intentional.  Please post a thank you to them here.

Greg

Greg,

I want to say "THANK YOU" to you and all the others who helped put on such a successful event. This was our first outing with the group and felt like we belonged right off the bat.

There were several folks we met that we went home thinking, "I know we've met before". They say the mind is the first to go. :?

Great food, great new friends and a great time!! We look forward to meeting up with everyone again around our next camp fire.

GREG - I LOVE MY 2 NEW FLAGS!!

Hello everyone, My wife had a great time this weekend at the Rally. It was very nice meeting new people with the same interest. Please let us know if there is any thing we can do to help with the club. Our daughter and her family finally got to Gold Head Sunday afternoon and we stayed until today (Wed.). We will be looking foward to hooking up with you guys again soon.

I'll be sure to pass along the nice words on to Taylor and Natalie. Taylor's at Girl Scout Camp helping with 230 little gals learn to love camping. DH is sick so I couldn't go tonight. Hopefully tomorrow.

Thanks for all your help with the kids crafts. We had a blast and really enjoyed meeting so many great people.
