Wouldn't you know it just as we start to pull the boat out of the driveway it starts thundering and lightening and then it was hailing for about 20 minutes.

We got only a few little pieces of hail but over 3" rain.  Today, I was picking up limbs and had to open a ditch a little.  Digging down about 6", the ground was still powder dry sand.  Not wet at all.  I guess all the rain ran off because I paid my $75 "Storm Water Runoff Fee".   Go figure...

Ok wise old mayor Peyton, where is my rain water?

Our Home owner's association told us not to pay it. They were applying for some discount.
