Let's not forget why we can enjoy this lifestyle. A generation of brave people stepped out and risked their necks to quote: " dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them"
Take a moment to explain to the next generation the sacrifice that makes these words true. Quote "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"
Please explain to them that each succeeding generation must be willing to guarantee this with great sacrifice when perils loom at our shores.
