My younger son who lives in Biddeford, Maine, just called. Yesterday he had a few friends over to help him cut 7 trees in his yard. Good ol' Vermont woodsman, now living in Maine, cut them for Sam for the wood. Sam had steaks, corn on the cob, sausage, potato salad, etc. for a BIG cookout afterwards.

The woodsman's THIRTEEN (13) year old son brought TWENTY-FIVE (25) fresh lobsters!!! This 13-year old runs his own lobster  boat and business and is making between $600-$700 a week selling lobsters and fixing boat motors and engines!!! What a kid!!!!

Anyway, Sam says they ate lobstah till it came out their ears and they have 7 left to make lobstah rolls for a week......too bad yer not still in Maine to help him eat 'em.

M.E.

WOW!  He is a very bright young man.  He'll probably be able to retire by the time he's 25!  Imagine.....

It's been 3 weeks and we are going through lobstah withdrawal.  I wish we were still there, too.  We wouldn't have had the truck & trailer burglary Friday night and we would be away from this heat & humidity.

It's the Florida Turkish Steam Bath time!!! But to put a positive note on it: Some people have to PAY for a Turkish steam bath and we get 'em for FREE! Every summer, all summer......sigh...

That burglary was a REAL bummer, Richard. I'm so sorry that made a lousy end to a really nice trip.
