I touched on this under the Stephen Foster's thread and I didn't want to continue to take away from the campground's thread.

To let everyone know, I had my surgery on Monday (July 28th) and the pain in my leg and buttocks is now gone. Thanks again redfrog for helping ease my thoughts about having the surgery. My family and I was very nervous about the situation. Even though last night was a very dificult night, I feel 100% better than I did a couple of days ago. The Doctor told my wife that I had a torn ligament in my back and this is what caused the herniated disc.

I should be back up and at it with in a few days, so as of right now we are still planning to go to Stephen Fosters an I hope to see all of you there.

I just wished I would have had surgery earlier.

Glad to hear that the surgery went well and that you are much better.  When I saw my back doctor I felt like such a whimp because I could hardly walk.  He told me that I was a trooper and that he'd actually had some NFL players come in with the same thing sobbing and carrying on had to wheel them in.

Hey at least that made me crack a smile! :beer

I'm glad I could help ease your mind. I was very scared when I went in (crying my eyes out), but felt soooo much better afterwards. Can't wait to meet yall at SF.

Thanks everyone.

It's nice to hear such a good group of concerns when such a bad thing happens.

The Paffords!
