Just heard on the news, one of the little girls that sang in the opening ceremonies was lipsinking because the little girl who actually had the voice and recorded the song wasn't cute enough or fit the image.
That is sad.

| Sad but not surprising I am sure the the Chinese are micro managing every aspect of the games.

For those of you who haven't changed over to HDTV. The screen shots are absolutely awesome. NBC must have the latest tech devices there. The countryside scenery during the bicycle coverage last week was great. The under water shots of swimming and diving are unbelievable.
Greg, you can bet the Chineese are in charge.

We have like six channels of the games! Love listening to it in Korean or Mandarin.....Really the BEST coverage ever. I'm glued. Gonna miss all those channels when we are at St. Andrews next week, but we should have the regular NBC coverage. Don't have HD in the camper though and Richard is right, it is fabulous.
GO USA! Michael just won another gold!

The opening show was truly spectacular. I've got to admit although it's about the hottest time of the year I'm so glad I had Sebastian because I've been able to watch so much of all of the olympics with all the feedings. Totaly glued to the HDTV coverage.
