Nearly famous sausage dogs, a camping favorite of ours.

Nearly Famous Sausage Dogs

Use Bryans bun length smoked sausage or the bun length sausage of your choice. Cut a shallow slit down the length of 2 sides and push pieces of onion in one side and bell pepper in the other side. Next wrap the whole thing with a strip of bacon and secure it together with toothpicks. Grill or smoke them until the bacon is crispy on the outside. Enjoy

With some corn on the cob, Mmmm, tasty

We are running up to Country Oaks RV Park in Kingsland this weekend.  Sounds like a "wiener" to me.  We will have to try them Saturday night.

I made some of these with smoked Bratwurst when I was at Salt Springs and they turned out better than any I have ever made. Incredible flavors together and excellent when re-heated also.

Thanks Al, we are always looking for something new to try. I have printed the recipe and put it in the camper as a reminder. Dennis

Mary Ellen I was going to bring you one over but I was afraid it would give you a heart attack and I would have felt very badly about.  LOL
