I don't know why this is such a hit, maybe it's just "comfort food".
In a pot brown about 2lbs of ground beef and one chopped onion. Drain and then add two cans of Campbells Select (or any brand in a large can) vegetable soup. Serve with French bread and butter. All the kids wanted seconds and thirds.
I usually make this at home a day or two before we leave and put it in the freezer in a large ziplock bag. Just throw it in the cooler and go.
