We just tried this at home on our Weber Q and loved it.
Ingredients:
3/4 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and halved
1/2 lb or more red potatoes, quartered
1 large onion, sliced or chopped
1 lb smoked sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
Salt & pepper to taste, or use your favorite seasoning
1 tsp EVOO
1 tsp butter
1/3 C water (I used chicken stock)
1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium high heat.
2. On a large sheet of foil, place the green beans, red potatoes, onion, and sausage. Sprinkle with seasoning. Sprinkle with oil and top with butter. Add water or stock. Tightly seal foil around the ingredients.
3. Place foil packet on the prepared grill. Cook 20-30 minutes, turning once, until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender. (I cooked it for 40 minutes on the Q grilled, closed, and it was a little bit overdone. I think 30 minutes would be good.)
Enjoy!

I cooked this again tonight using Johnsonville Smoked Turkey Sausage. MUCH healthier and very good, too. I also threw in some chopped tomatoes and zucchini. This is just a great basic recipe to play with.
