| This is another good camp grond and not far from all the attractions. KOA also has a shuttle service that takes you into town. Nice, clean and friendly Attachment: ST%20AUGUSTINE%20KOA-6-07033.jpg (Downloaded 64 times)

Our reservation for Little Talbot Island was cancelled for renovations and we didn't find out until too late for other parks so we made a reser. for this KOA. Driving by on a work ride I think its funny how they have been able to survive so close to the business area of St. Augustine Beach. Talking to the office people, they sound friendly.

Went went here also it was nice but our dogs got so infested with ticks from a tick patch they must of came accross somewhere that we had to have our yard and house sprayed and deinfested! took about 3-4 months to get rid of all the ticks.
We actually stayed in the back cabin (second to last on the lake there)
We laughed about how close to town this is and right out side the fence its all built up city like but in the campground you would never no it...we had a good time dispite the ticks

As a Koa it is one of the nicer local parks to stay in. Unfortunately the park personnel/management do not respond to problems as they should. We stayed there this past thanksgiving weekend and found another site had left two dogs tied outside all day and part of the night to their cab-over-camper they had pulled off their truck. These dogs were howling, barking and just plain miserable having to deal with the sandpile they had created of the site. The park was very busy for the holiday and we did find the park in good condition. Just not used to the closeness of the sites even though we are KOA veterans.
