Hey Jimmy We have been to Oleno. We liked it there. Nice park the only draw back is that it is heavily treed and some of the sites are a little tricky to get into. It's not a big problem you just have to take your time. The site we had was impossible too back into going with the flow of traffic so I just pulled around and came in from the wrong direction.

There are some nice trails there starting with a cool suspended bridge over the river. There is also a preserved CCC camp there with a small museum.

I like the place and plan to visit again. Give it a try I think you will like it.

We went to Oleno last summer. My wife did not care for the showers in the middle of the campground. Had to walk through the woods to get there and made her uneasy after dark and dodging spider webs.

We did enjoy the hiking trails. Walked around and saw where the Santa Fe dissapears underground.

Also, lots of bike paths outside the park.

The roads left something to be desired as they were pretty rough. Dually is right about the sights.

We liked it. We had deer walking through the campground every morning. The hiking was nice. They had a park ranger show a movie about the river one night and give a presentation. Kids thought it was great.
