We did not care much for this campground due to the lack of care given it by the state.  Our site was very dirty  as was most of the park.  There was trash everywhere and no attemp was made to clean it up.  There was a weekend camp host parked in the next site over from us who didn't much but ride around on a cart and ignore their barking dog.   It was a real shame because the park it self was great once you got past the trash and rundown nature of the facilaties.  The sites are very small with lots of shade.  Some of the sites put you awning site parrell to the road (read no privacy).  There is a large petting zoo for the kids with quite a few animals running loose.  A golf course for the adults and miles and miles of hiking trails.  There is also a a small swimming area near the campground but don't recommend swimming there due to the trash. The bathhouse was nasty.  I would love to stay here again but won't unless someone tells me that they have cleaned it up.

thought I would start my first post on this board with a reply here.

We stayed at this park last year and pretty much have the same opinion. I don't recall the trash being bad, but I did leave with the impression the state have cut their budget several times over the past couple of years.

Some of hte sites where basically on the side of the road. Weird.

Bathrooms were clean, but old. On thing I didn't like is the bathroom door was right in front of the shower stall. If you don't watch out everyone will see your goodies.

Don't tent camp on the regular sites as the sites are all gravel. You need to use the tent sites, which really don't have power or water.
