This is a very nice very large Park. The sites are large and you can view a picture of each campsite on there website before you book it. You can only make reservations six months in advance unless you are a resident of Pinellas County they can reserve seven months in advance to ensure that they get first pick. I estimate that 50 percent of the sites are water front either on Tampa Bay or an inlet. The park is very clean with modern bath houses. The beach is about a 5 mile drive from the campground but still within the park. There are miles of beaches with lots of picnic areas and facilities. There is a very large boat ramp at the campground able to launch the largest of trailerable boats. You can beach your boat at many of the sites. The sites are segregated so if you have pets be sure to reserve a site in a pet loop.

| I have stayed here twice, once many years ago and once recently. This is a great CG, unfortunately this entire park is suffering from severe overuse. Unless you like going to the beach with 20,000 people may want to consider the off season.
