This is one of my favorite places to camp! The park always has alot of activities, especially music festivals. There is something for everyone here. They have RV sites, cabins, camp sites with electric and primitive camping. The RV sites are not very private, it is one big cleared area with a few overhead trees for shade. You will be on top of your neighbor but here this is part of the fun. The tent area is also more of a clearing with a few overhead trees and has a bathroom/shower area also (as does the rest of the campground). If you want privacy you can tent camp around the small lake or in the farm field or bird sanctuary area but there aren't any facilities out there. In the farm field there is a bat house and you will definitely see bats here. They come out around dusk and the best place to view them is the farm field. There is also a now defunct renaisance fair out in the woods. It has medieval looking buildings and is worth exploring.
It is worth checking out the website (http://www.musicliveshere.com) to see their schedule of events before booking your trip. The big music festivals are Magnoliafest and Springfest. I've never been to these but I hear that it is packed and there are 3 stages and alot of jam sessions throughout the park. These events are definitely for the party crowd. If you want a more peaceful camping experience avoid those festivals as they get quite loud and go into the wee hours of the morning.
There is a canoe/kayak outpost, a swimming area, pool, small shopping/craft area, horseback riding, small restaurant, camp store and a music hall that usually has bands on every weekend. There are also 2 large outdoor festival stages. This is a huge campground. If you have a golf cart or 4 wheeler by all means bring it. If not they also rent them there. This is a good place for bike riding too as there are many paved roads and unpaved trails. I understand that there are also some springs nearby off of one of the paths but I haven't explored that area - yet.
There are nearby restaraunts and a Walmart also in case you need to restock.
