Anyone been to these places before?  What loop(s) is/are the best for booking?  I'm leaning more towards St. Joseph.  Let's decide this week so we can book.

BTW Destin was all booked up so I chose these SP instead.  After reading some reviews I'm leaning more towards St. Andrews.  They have a secret fishing hole.  Might be a great opportunity to get some fishing in.  :D

Mandy.....I was looking at these locations also but we can't do them :(   they do not allow pets.

We are looking at Topsail...suppose to be one of the top rated state parks in the country.....plus its a bigger park sounds like there would be more to do

Also found several others including some private ones up there that look good

Oh sorry Vicki!!!  I just assumed about the dogs.  Topsail sounds really good, but I think it might be all booked up.  Some of the private ones are a bit pricey for us.  Mark is checking his schedule right now to see if he can get the whole week off.

All topsail does allow pets they also have open sites...BUT NEWS FLASH...LOL I called the park directly and ST andrews does allow pets now she said as of a year ago ...reserve america just didn't update yet....but the biggest site they have is 35 ft...if you want to do that one...book quick onlky a few left and pick a site that has a 35 next to it...we are 36 ft but we can squish into a 35 :D   and there were 3-or 4 combo's with a 35 and like a 30 next to it...how long is your tt by the way??

Any place that lets us with the dogs is cool with us just let me know!!

Let's do Topsail.  Looks like they have quite a bit of sites open for reservations.  Now we've got to figure out what loopy d loop we want to stay on.  Anyone have an opinion out there on which loop is best?

I think the 100 loop is the best.  What days were you thinking of going.  I have not recieved my conformation about the turkey run yet.  If I don't get a spot we may go to Topsail.  Chris loves Topsail.

Thanksgiving, just around the corner and I see you are looking for places to go in the Panhandle area. We have reserved sites here http://raccoonriver.net/ in Panama City Beach for the week and just figured we would let you know about this park. I have read several reviews of this campground and they are very good. We have never been here before but there are sites available and they do allow pets. So, just an FYI....not a recommendation....we will let you know after Thanksgiving when we get back though....

Looks like sites 57-67 & 42-48 are the only ones open for the dates of 11/20 - 11/25.

We're booked at TOPSAIL on site #63 for 11/21-11/25.  Hope you all can join us!  :bounce

Greg, I hope you get your spot at Turkey Run, but if for some reason you don't we think it's great you could join all of us.  There's always Gator Nationals and Daytona Spring Fling.  :?
