Wow GA sure does have some wonderful state parks.  If we were not already going to Topsail Hill we would go.

To tell you the truth we enjoy the GA parks alittle more than the FL parks. But then again any camping is a good day any where a person might be :relaxed

I will agree that any day camping is a good day.

The only GA park we have been to is Black Rock Mountain and we liked it so much we are going back in the spring.

I would also like to go to Stephen Foster State Park in Ga when it recovers from the fire and drought.

Greg

I have reservations for 11/21-11/25.  I hope to get a chance to visit Douglas, GA while in the area. Have you stayed at this CG before? If so, what was it like?

This will be our third stay at this park. The last couple of times it was not very crowded so it was very relaxing.

Relaxing is one of the main things that I look for in a park.

The last two times we have been to General Coffee we stayed in the second loop of camp sites. It seemed to be less crowded. Almost all the sites are pull-through some situated as to be real nice for several rigs to be together but still have privacy.

Thanks for the tip. Do you just pick a site once you get there and get checked in? I didn't see anyway to pick a site when online.

Cheryl and Al,

About what time will you be arriving at the cg? Al, Aaron will be there also but has to leave on Friday night for duty Saturday morning.

I am shooting for between 1:00 and 2:00 then I will pickup Cheryl about 7:00-8:00 at the Brunswick exit. She has to work Wed so son-in-law is bringing her up that far.

Hey Al,

Aaron got in late yesterday and has to work today until 10 a.m. Hopefully, I can get out of here and be on the road in time to get a good spot. I have to find some fire wood before I leave here, so that we can have our campfire and smores. Thanks again Deb, Greg, and Cheryl for teaching me how to make a campfire. Hopefully, this time Trey won't track melted marshmallows in the TT. That was a sticky mess to get up but worth every scrub.
