Hey, is this discrimination? Because, if not, I would like to play. It has been over 20 years, but I remember the fundamentals of the game.....I would need to "use" someone's clubs though.......

OK   How many ladies want in???

We could call it the "first annual NEFLCC golf gathering"  This could be really really fun..  or really really funny!!   Lets see how many people want to get into it...

For all those going to Laura Walker in March. Let us know if you're in..... and who/how many are golfing.  We also need to know their skill set...ie.  can they hit the ball?  can they hit it straight?  fairly straight?  Do you shoot in the 80's 90's 100's  or have you just never played?  Do you need clubs?  Do you want to play...maybe just drive the cart for someone else? We can also see if the Pro shop there rents clubs. Between Richard and I we can set this up!!

Dee   I'm bringing the two boys... 13 and 16   Tommy (13) will probably play.  Jason (16) will probably hang out at the campground.   I will call the pro shop for club rental info and to set up our outing and tee times.

It might be fun to make this an annual event.

Oh this is going to be a blast.....Yes there is a playground there. It's to the left when you first enter the park over by the closed pool. The playground isn't one of them super duper ones, but it has a swing and some kinda jungle gym thing on it.

Kevin, Thomas and I shoot in the low 90's, however keep in mind that I only have played once since my back surgery and it wasn't that great.

I will see if my son wants to play, he has a set of clubs, but really have never played, just been on the diving range. Oh, he can throw his club further than he can hit it.

As far as tee times, this shouldn't be a problem. just let them know that we have a bunch of beginners so they won't stack players on top of us. I have played this course several times and I have never been pressured.

Also, I will check to see if Thomas has an extra set of clubs too.

OK all...I just talked to the golf course..

Greg... I said I was from NEFLCC.. I'm trying to get a discount!

The normal cost for weekends is $35.00 with cart

Club rentals are $16.00

The pro from the pro shop was off today so I have to call back tomorrow.  I am anticipating 4-6 foursomes.  I need a good guestimate as to who is playing, riding, etc for tomorrow (if possible)  I also need to try to figure out the best time to tee off... I'm thinking around 11:00 am.  Need feedback PLEASE!!! Right now I see four actual golfers.  We will need at least one real golfer per group.

Thanks,

Kevin
