Yea how about posting a review in the campground review section for us.
We have camped in the pan handle several times. Once and Henderson beach and twice at Topsail Hill.

| Fort Pickins is an old Civil war fort built on the mouth of Pensacola bay, theres not alot for the kids to do but the camp sites are within walking distance of both the sound and the Gulf, it has hiking and biking trails, there are two camp grounds, they are close together, very quiet, with full hookups, you can tour the fort, which takes about 2HRS, great place to go for a nice quiet couple of days if you have never been there before, I'll post 1 photo below, where can I go to post more than 1 Attachment: Wayne's 156.jpg (Downloaded 61 times)

Howdy Wink,
some of the bike trails are dirt but the main road leading into the park has a paved bike trail next to it, I'd have to say at least 10 miles long, I live about 30 miles from the park, if any of you ever decide to go, let me know and we can meet there, you won't be sorry, great camp ground.

Howdy Wink,
I didn't hook up to the sewer while I was there, there was a dump station on site because I used it on the way out so maybe they don't have sewer hookups at each site, I do know there was water and electric, are you going to give it a try?

Ft Pickens is a great place to camp if you love the beach and love history. The beach is QUIET and peaceful (no partying types when we were there they stayed in the public area way down on the other end) the fort is pretty cool too with a gift shop (if it still has it after the numerous storms and floods). The bathhouses are OLD and I've never seen so many critters that lived in a bathhouse before using FP. It is NOT FHU just w/e. There were 2 dump stations when we stayed but only one open during the week. The beach is a very short walk across a boardwalk the bay is a little farther walk than that. Nothing to do there but ride bikes, walk, fish and RELAX. Be careful of the wind and which way your RV faces. One camper didn't pay attention and lost his awning when a big wind came up because he didn't roll it up in time.
While in the area check out the Naval Aviation Museum totally free and worth the time.
Check out the pics in the webshots link they are under 08/04 Ft Pickens

Well just went on line and they have most of the camp ground shut down for a face lift so will keep checking. They say they will open up each loop as they finish with it.
