I see that some of you will be at Hanna Park on the 29th.  The wifey and I have already made reservations starting on the 28th.  We will be on site #16 so stop by and say hi (keep in mind that one of our dogs bark is not as bad as his bite, you have to guess which one that is).  Where will the movie night thing be?

See you there,

Steve

Hi Steve and Cindy! We are on site number 163. I can not change my site to be closer to you guys because there are limited sites at Hannah Park where we can park our "beast". I will add you to the calendar along with your site number if it is ok with you guys. We are planning on having movie night both Saturday and Sunday night. You can bring your own chairs and snacks. We normally ride our bycicles during the day or just go for a walk. This time, we are definitively trying out the Golf Disc thingy. If we get enough people and interest, maybe we can do a pot-luck dinner thing Saturday night just before the movie. I would imagine we will probably start the movie around 6-7pm. In any case, we are always open for ideas.

Disc Golf?  That course at Hanna is a blast.  My youngest son and I have been playing for about 4 years now.  Played ALOT the first 2 years but have slacked off a bunch the last couple.  I have a bunch of disc I will bring along if anyone would be interested in trying it.

I'm am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Steve

I will be glad to show you how it is played.  Pretty easy.  It is played just like "ball golf", except you have a basket.  We will be arriving at Hanna on Friday, the 28th.  I have to work Christmas eve and Christmas day, but have 5 days off at New Years:P.

To change things up, I will be off next Wednesday and the DW and I were thinking about going to Manatee Springs for the day.  I wanted to check out the cg but I really want DW to get to see some manatee.  I hear this is the time of year to see then.  How long of a drive is it to Manatee Springs?

Faster to go down to Blue Springs in Orange City, the place is full of them. Typical SP CG, no problem for a PUP

No, it is considered a sanctuary by the state and everyone must stay out of the area they are swimming in. You can get an occasional close encounter if you can get in the water in winter. For viewing purposes it is 2nd to none. I have seen thirty in the spring at once and I have heard they have as many as 90 that frequent the spring

We have 15 more "wake-ups" before we leave for Hanna.  I am the biggest kid when it comes to Christmas, but I am more excited about camping at Hanna than Christmas.  This will only be our second time we have been camping since we got her.

You can check in at 1pm, right?  If so I will have to spend all morning thinking about getting out there and getting set up.  I am glad I only have a 10-15 minute drive from the house to the park.  I wonder if my DW will continually say "are we there yet?" :Xon this trip.  I wonder how many potty brings we will have to stop for. ;)

Steve,

I think that camping brings out the kid in most of us. I wake each day happy that it brings me another day closer to our next camping trip.

Mark has off from Christmas to New Years.  We would love to join you all at Hanna even if we can't camp.  I think we're going to try and visit the park while Mark is off.  We'll stop by and see you all if we do.
