I was going to suggest Fort Clinch for the Shrimp Fest in Fernandina,,May 2-4 but after checking the Park is full. Any other ideas on wher to camp for the festival?

How about Little Talbot--looks like there are a lot of sites open May 2-4.  We may be interested--I'll have to check our calendar.  I haven't ever been there but hear it is really nice so I would love to check it out.

Phil,

We have been to so many parks the last month I can't remember which one is which.  :duhAs we drove thru each park we wrote down which sites we liked, but DW and I can't find the papers.  We are better organized that that, but can't find them anywhere.  I know we liked the ones that were close to the restrooms and showers because we have to the facilities at each park.  If we remember correctly, sites 17-40 seemed to be the better ones.

Anyone else been there lately?

Steve

I sent you a couple of PM's---did you see those?  I thought my site number was added to the calendar--I thought you did that.  Weird.  There are still sites open if you want to book now--or are you waiting to make sure you don't have other plans before you  make a reservation

I think that they must have been doing some updating today on reserveamerica--I was going to look at the available sites for another friend who may be interested and saw 24 avail as well--when I tried to login and check my current reservations I was unable to access and received some strange error message. I doublechecked my email confirmation so I wasn't too concerned.  Maybe they have it up and running now.  Hopefully but I think I am going to doublecheck and call them tommorow.  One other time I had a site reserved at Anastasia and we were going to get a 2nd site and I saw mine available.  I had to call them and there was a problem and the site was confirmed but then they did some updates and it wiped out a lot of the reservations they had on file.  That was a little nerve wracking!
