We have never been but I have read a little about it. I think it would be a fun trip as long as it is not the only destination. From what I have read there is not much to do there other than digging for diamonds.

| We are going to Poverty Point Reservoir SP for spring break. Poverty Point Reservoir SP in Delhi, LA is about 4 hours and 45 minutes away from Crater of Diamonds SP. I figured we could drive up for a day or 2. This is one of the parks that Erinn is excited about. I think that Trey will like digging in the dirt for treasure and the water park there. I think digging for diamonds will get old after an hour or so but the memory of treasure hunting will last.

| I agree it would be one of those things that you would always remember doing. Our girls love to dig also. They bugged me for months until I gave them their own patch of yard to dig in.
