Man ya'll realy know how to talk bad about a person when he's not around !!!

Ok....this is for the guys only !!!! Ladies don't read this or my scam will be over. All the Ladies gone ???? Good !!!!!

Ok guys I wear the sunglasses for the Stevie Wonder affect !!!! Its Great... when I judge these contest I tell the girls I'm blind and I have to judge by Braille. God you would not believe how many fall for it.

Like Richard said those of you that are coming to the Glen for the day, Please be Very Carefull. Police & Wildlife will be out in full force, and they don't play around.

Joe, let me know what day you will be over and I will look for you. I would say call me on my cell phone, but the phones don't work down there most of the time. Just look for "Southern Breeze" with a full size "Surrender the Booty" flag across the stern.

Yahooo....only a couple more days and a 3 day weekend camping at Salt Springs.  So...what springs can we go to since Salt Springs is closed?  I'm not too familiar with the area.

Also.....Anyone heard of the fire conditions near Palatka. Steven said they were closing some big roads due to a fast moving fire.

One more...is there a fire ban in Salt Springs? I won't haul the fire wood if we can't use it.

I was wondering about fire also, may call and ask. I am going over to Silver Glen spings early Sunday morning for a dip if it is not cool and before the zoo (crowd) arrives there.

We want to find a spring to take the girls snorkeling. Hopefully the fire won't be a problem or the smoke.

Update....I saw on the news last night that there was a bad fire in the Georgetown area. Thats on the northeast side of Lake George. Almost dead across the lake from Salt Springs. With the wind that they are calling for this weekend, and as dry as it is down there, Ya'll please be carefull. If any fires start on the west side of the lake it will be a mess, and I will take my boat outside the Glen.

Mandy .....what are you doing reading my post !!!! I said "NO" Ladies !!!! There goes my Gig !!!!!

I called Salt Springs and they said at this time they were not being effected by any fires in or around Palatka, "it's in south Palatka". She did say they did not have a fire ban right now but they would have to wait and see about the weekend.

She said the springs were closed but they were giving coupons out in the office for $2.00 off admission to go to Silver Glen about 8 miles down the road.

We are going to Florida Caverns State Park--out 10 past Tallahassee.  Never been there before but looking forward to exploring.  Looks like there is plenty to do--fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking & cave exploring.  Hope the campgrounds are nice---anyone been there before?

Have a fun & relaxing 3 day weekend.

Enjoy

Sorry Clyde!  Curiosity got the best of me.  I love the sun glasses trick it works wonders when you're looking for the washboard abs.  :P
